GOK guaranteed to repay KQ debt to banks if it defaults.GoK in it's current state doesn't have that money.
In KQ everyone is making money easily apart from minority shareholders

Project Mawingu is the whitest elephant in this country's history. It might easily precipitate debt default and a collapse of the Kenyan economy.

Who was the FinMin when Project Mawingu was OK'd?

In all honesty UK is a weak leader.... At this point this merger thing is above Sebastian and JA.... Why cant he even do a national press conference.... Bure kabisa.... Also KQ with its weak leaderahip a few years back HR used to do caravans.... Where everyone is explained to about chnages affecting the company even equipment operators in a language they understand...

This thing needs a full day conference and not a media briefing. GoK has already pumped in over KES 27B in the last two years alone, and now needs KES 11B new funds to push out Obiero and company. And after that an additional KES 40B to sort out negative equity. Meanwhile minority shareholders have sought legal counsel, mtajua hamjui!

That is the only sane way the debt will be repaid and GoK to issue a directive that all government officials use KQ for trips abroad.

GoK should not waste funds bailing out minority shareholders in KQ except for KQLC.
KQLC was forced to convert debt into shares in KQ and the debts/promises should be made good.

Even without KQ being there... Other airlines will fill that gap.... Look at the orders for new planes from ET... Rwandair and the rest... Competition is stiff and will get even stiffer....

Honestly didn't foresee KES 5.50 for KQ. Now I am thinking about a massive average down.. Will I really recover from this investment? My waterloo?

Am makaaad(astonished) maka. How does it feel being a mechanic in this pathological engine room. Things must be flying really fast inside here.
Was it KAA duty to ensure jet fuel was availed in time. Can we suspect foul play too.
Now that oqueer(awfully regrettable) has firmly pressed down on SOS button, would we blame the captain and the pilot for ditching their ship at an opportune time if it's the only reasonoble thing to do for survival.
Should the passagers mete any blame too.
Feeling it dearly for mr Joseph.
