It has the largest amount of arable land yet this potential is underutilised from a commercial farming standpoint, so as world population grows, Africa will be the continent to feed it in the long run. Also Africa has the youngest and fastest growing population that's why Chinaman is investing here very early as we are the future. Sino-Africa cooperation is the best thing that has happened to the continent my braddahs. Watch Africa boom hard in the coming 30 years. This is why I keep telling folks the time to invest in dustbowl is YESTERDAY. the superboom to come has not even started and dustbowl is ground zero of Kenya's economic push forward as our population inevitably grows and needs a place to lay its head as well as food to eat which will come from vast untapped dustbowl commercial farms (the only place close to Nairobi that has plenty of virgin land that has never been farmed before.
What happens to wildlife natural habitats and migratory routes huko dustbowl?? Already lions and wild dog are extinct huko dustbowl and Amboseli has shrunk to a surface area of 300Km(squared). We need to think hard as Africans about how we will manage this "vast" land.
I some times wonder how tiny countries like the UK with double the population of Kenya has managed human settlement and natural habitats
