85 cents was also paid out in FY2017 results.
2018 they may hike it to 90 cents or ksh.1

Expect no dividend hike here instead FY2018 will be a disaster!

Look at KPLC. The K(orruption) brigade has destroyed what was a cash-generating machine within a few years at the helm.
KenRe has lots of cash but will it be safe under a new regime?

KenRe is the strong bull, stayed strong as the rest of the herd who were weaker were decimated.
But times are tough. The predators need to eat. Scavengers have appetites to fill.

And now it stands alone as a GoK firm that's cash-rich on the NSE.
It's next on the menu.

CMA is not exactly known for protecting shareholders' interests.
Only a solid management (firm and visionary) can save this one.

The moment you doubt management, run. Run very fast. By the time the truth gets revealed in the financials, it will be too late.

A good way to eat the fat cash reserves---- So gamet!

Why rush to built while real estate is no longer that hot? Anyway I got rid of the stock last year and wish all the luck in the world to those inside.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

I agree. Commercial real estate is in a complete glut, especiallybin Upper Hill and Westlands. All are looking (or claiming to charge) $100 / square foot. A total joke with all the new properties coming online!

Yes, I have KenRe as a core holding. Was it a mistake given GoK's control? I think so but I am not selling yet.
