imagine a head teacher being transferred from one school to another and then after 6 months the 'computer' transfers him to another school. teaching 3 schools in a year isn't fun.this is happening.

again you are just 6 months to retirement then the computer selects you for transfer 400km away.I'm not a teacher but teachers can be treated better. if you think sossion is mad just dig deeper.

You are not right on head teacher tranfers. This is the 2nd round/ yr doing it the first was for national schools and those moved around the country. This round was for county schools and the list out shows movements within the county. Remember these teachers are responsible for form 1 selection and most of them messed up e.g. picked gals in boys schools knowingly so that they can sell the vacancies to the highest bidding parents.

The transfers are being resisted mainly for that reason but to bring an end to this madness TSC should punish those heads who picked kids wrongly otherwise the vice will never end. It happened during Kaimenyis time relaxed during Matiang'i s now back in Amina, tells alot about the leadership.

you see now..I'm talking of primary schools you are talking of secondary schools. Knut mostly has members from primary schools .kuppet speaks for high schools. most numbers are in Knut .there is where teachers are being randomly transferred. I have former school mates who are victims to this random transfers and they are not few in the last 2 years

It's true I have not looked at the Primary schools transfers but since they have the same boss, TSC why should the modus operandi be different? As for KNUT and KUPPET, most secondary school teachers are members of KNUT. KUPPET was a later creation and most teachers don't trust it. But if transfers are being done haphazardly it's wrong.

for PP2 i find the new CBC syllabus dumbed down. My kid was in KG1 2017 where they learnt to count 1-10, recite A B C D ...KG2 in 2018 and by end year Kiddo could write 1 - 100, can write and read simple sentences.

Enter CBC curriculum and now at PP2 (equivalent of KG3) kid is expected to join dots and count 1 - 10.

I noticed the same. My child is in class 2 and she says the work is too easy. However it's still early. Maybe the system wants all children to grasp the basics thoroughly before moving to new concepts

Ati all 11year olds to be shipped to (boarding) secondary schools under CBC. Just so you can strip KNUT off its members?

Has anyone ever done study why we have much indiscipline in boarding secondary schools and not the day schools.

Could be these kids move to secondary schools when still not mature and now govt wants to reduce the age even further?????

Kwani KNUT doesnt have Secondary sch teachers?

Kwani KNUT doesnt have Secondary sch teachers?

You dont know most Knut members are primary school teachers? And many secondary school teachers in KUPPET?
