Topology is the area of Mathematics that is concerned with the properties of space that remain invariant under continuous deformations(shrink, stretch,twists etc) The spaces being considered at times get complicated at times algebraic tools like groups, homology get used. K Theory is one of these tools which includes the study of certain objects known as the K-groups.
