Im about to grab 15K of Kenol Kobil after split,but i know it has to set its pace again after the stock has already been dilluted.Any honest opinion out there??Also what else you guys think(stocks) that is out there incase i wonna pump some extra cash to add to my potfolio.....It's all based on the end of year and a back up of many reforms that may influence the investors opportunities....any opinions?? lets kick off with the views.......

@wanyina what do you mean the share was diluted? Split does not cause dilution.

@Wanyina
I am thinking of doing the same. A a slight increase in prices of low priced shares brings a a big percent increase in profit if you sell. If you buy today @10 and sell after few months @13, you will have made 30% profit(forgeting brokers commision)
Early this year I bought some Co-op bank shares @ and average sh8.50 and sold them @ 13 which is only an increase of 4.50 but in % terms was 52%

KK's CEO was very optimistic at the AGM... They did not release 1Q 2010 results but use Total as a proxy & there are good things to come!

@wanyina from your posts you sound new to this game...

a stock before a share split and after a share split is exactly the same...
for example if you were selling an orange at 1bob and no one can afford it then you divide the orange into 10 pieces and sell each at 10cents.. this will not change the value of the orange does it???? instead it increases demand for the small more affordable pieces of the orange....

thats exactly the case with KK it has a better chance of rallying after the split than before the split....

to answer your previous question... this stock is a screaming buy but be careful about the referendum

The great results for Total had no impact on the share price. Couldn't it be the same for KK?

Yes.. It seems profits!

That was the time when KK raised petrol prices by 2/- & caused a firestorm of complaints & threats...

@Kesh: Historically,Kenol do not release quarterly results, so we will wait for the half years in August. I do not think they are hiding anything.

KK did release 1Q 2009 results but that might have been a one-off coz of the change of the Year End from Sep to Dec...
