morning wazuans,
as I had mentioned in my previous topic (real estate investment fund ) my intention is to eventually invest directly in the sector I.e buying land, building rental property etc. I would therefore like you to please share the process you went through before you became the proud owners of your FIRST pieces of land I.e
- transactions involved and the fees
- who you dealt with as in government authorities and peoperty lawyers or did someone carry out the transactions on your behalf?
-what did you or do you consider before deciding that you buy land in a particular are even if its for speculation.
-from your experience as you moved from novice to experienced what are the dos and the donts of land buying
ur help in these areas and any oher related issues i may have not covered will be very valuable to me and other rookie land investors. good day.

Thanks for raising this. I'm sure many will appreciate the advice.

Many times people get fooled with Castles of doom. Before buying a property you should aware of property deed and many other things. A brief research is a must before buying property. For the majority of people, buying your own house in Kenya is truly the biggest investment in their lives so it is strongly recommended to never make the decision very quickly. A significant amount of research would only justify your decision.

Failing to do due diligence - For instance, the lawyer must execute an official title search of one's property along with the Ministry of Lands to examine the legal owner of the property. The lawyer must examine the search certificate issued by the ministry. He should approve the sale agreement get ready the transfer document. Furthermore, the lawyer is likewise} responsible for|accountable for} stamping the legal documents and forwarding them for registration as required.
