For starters he has to pay his mechanic a retainer, given that repairing his car is a full time job, take long trips with him - you never know what might happen. To add on to that, he can only meet the ladies during the week because weekends are his time at the garage. On the spare parts, he is being honest. Fuel tank - buy a jerican, side mirror - buy a 20 bob mirror and stick it where the side mirror was, door locks - put a "konji", security equipment - none! Only Njung'e and his mechanic can start the car!

I thot the car loan thingy was soo 1900's. When it comes to cars If you can't afford it you don't need it period reason cars are not an investment so you don't need loans to acquire them.

On the contrary,the much i spend on spares is compensated for by fuel since the car is being pushed most of the time.
