It may go very high but 250 to 300 i dont know. But What's the real value compared to its current price. Maybe for speculation it doesn't matter but current price assuming it almost reflects the real value of the company. Your question is almost similar to asking if the value of the company will double or triple before the split. Stocks can be absurd. Think of ur loaf of bread you go to the shop an ask how much and you're told 30 bob and you offer 90 bob assuming there's a greater fool somewhere to take the loaf off your hands for 100. @vvs please tell what's the value in kenol.

@guru...

i read ...was left totally speechless!!Applause Applause nice way to start weekend..

thanks funky. made my lunch time.

but seriously...future price of kenol is pegged mostly on just how greedy and misinformed the market is...
as a rule..the only reason a share you hold will go up in price is because out there is someone who wants it more than you.. "the greater fool theory"

Wasnt this company under investigation by the CMA for trading irregularities a while back?
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

share trading is more an issue of shareholders than it is of the company's management & prospects... and irregularities thereof are as such matters of isolated events than endemic to Kenol's existence..

@Kesh - If it made 10+ in 2H then they could make almost 20 in 2010...

Now a 10:1 split makes the EPS look 'low' at 2/-... So I think 160-200 is a fair price range...

I need to look at the 1Q or 1H results... The 1Q may be released on 20th May (AGM)

Just like equity, it will maybe hit 300, and then get the 10 to one split just like equity, then maybe slide down like..., then expand into regional markets like...., but like equity here the long termers will make somesing good

@ 250 bob it will be trading at a PBV of 3 which is not a big deal...equitys rise was supported by its supernormal growth...can kenol post a 50% rise in PAT in 2010?

Forget about rises in PAT. If you were faced with a KENOL share selling at 25 and a KCB or Access one in the same price neighbourhood, which one would you buy? So 250 is not inconceivable.

It's about psychology! Kenol had fallen to 60/- (6/- post-split) but there is no way I would compare it to lousy Neveready at 4.50!!!

I look at market capitalization and Kenol doesn't have a lot of shares out there compared to many counters, fundamentally there is no reason for the company to make losses in its business operations, moreover its expanding its tentacles, therefore as an analyst i say this is the last chance anyone wanting to buy Kenol will get it cheapest, as it cools off after its previous run from ksh-50 range, 80-85/= is where it should find support, after that prices as high as 150-200 are the next target, but confirmation of this is only if it breaks 103 level.
