Chem teach always used to add a sssss to every sentence.

...Now, what did we learn last time classssss.

...what is your namessssss.

He had a habit of sneaking under windows, behind doors to catch unsuspecting noisemakers during prep, untill we started saying sssss whenever he was sighted.
Life is short. Live passionately.

Were you in Barrack, coz Njoki wa Maina was talk of the school. Na musolin got laid by some of my classmates. Its was Soap Opera El Classico.

How I hated Ragati aka Mr Ngatia, the history teacher who canned me just because my eyes were usually Red. "kijana umevuta bangi,,,ehh?"

@ Fuchu,

i was in that school where they used to refer to tea as 'mairi', meat- 'mukwa' and Toilet as 'Gitundu'

'Chui B'

yes, Chui B it was. Left in '95. it sounds loooong time ago. how time flies. Left Aquino, Wamae Mungu, Ragati, Fwamba, all there.

BTW Sam Wambugu (Sunday Nation Columnist) was the Chief Ngiri, in my Mono year.

'Next week Thursday we have a double lesson but I will not come because I will be having a headache. A very serious headache'

That was Mr Ngena, a very arrogant and lazy teacher who took us for Business Studies and who earned a permament place in my rollcall of teacher notoriety. I wonder kalienda wapi

Mang'u. Zico, the ugandan, chemistry teacher. Just like above, he had a signature statement towards the end of an exam: "okee, testisi up, penisi down"

Laughing out loudly The fellow never taught me but in his days as the Games Master he would announce that a school team had lost narrowly even when they'd lost 6-0.

My favorite was Muts. The guy couldnt pronounce words with s sound at the end. Thus he would say speed = distant over time. His punishments included fetching water from the river using a spoon.

@skabz, he transferred to a sch in Nakuru. The best must have been Fr Gathongo(Paps). He would allow students into his house where we could watch movies, read books, newspapers and mags.He was also a banker for students and did shopping for them for free.Never seen this kind of dedication with anyone else.
