We have a judiciary that seems to operate in a vacuum. Some rulings make you wonder whether the judges have ever stepped in Kenya. I know there is fidelity to the law and constitution lakini.........

lakini nini? if you don't want it.. toa kwa law... simple things. laws can be changed..

Kina Duale na Murkomen never saw the need for addressing this issue since November?

We are waiting for the all important gazette.

I thought the constitution is the supreme law and it doesn't recognize moi day. Also all other laws have to conform to the katiba.

Nope. You read it wrong. He said it will be celebrated on the 20th together with Mashujaa. Unless of course if you have an updated circular different from the one that was released earlier.

BBI will solve it

My favourite Moi clip of all time by far is this one..Laughing out loudly

And Just for laughs...

and on a more sober note, little did Kenya know that on this day the 'passing cloud' would be with us for the next 24 years!

Happy Moi day to all. Whether we like it or not, this man was a part of our national lives for almost a whopping quarter of a century. Lot's of memories of him both good and bad but these days tis a good thing to hang on to the good and forget the bad.

Enjoy your day, Wazooans!
