I thought the constitution is the supreme law and it doesn't recognize moi day. Also all other laws have to conform to the katiba.

Nope. You read it wrong. He said it will be celebrated on the 20th together with Mashujaa. Unless of course if you have an updated circular different from the one that was released earlier.

He said the courts declared it a public Holiday and opted to not agree or disagree. Meaning everyone can interpret it as they deem fit:-d :-d :-d

Happy Moi day to all. Whether we like it or not, this man was a part of our national lives for almost a whopping quarter of a century. Lot's of memories of him both good and bad but these days tis a good thing to hang on to the good and forget the bad.
