Hi Wazuans.

Any thoughts on RUIRU GREENS for a future home?Currently the plots are going for 3.5M.
Looking forward to your comments

Sounds reasonable given the proposed amenities and location
But I usually don't trust companies that post nice off-plan renders with very few actual pictures of what is really going on on the ground. Could take quite a bit of time for the estate to come to life. But for the very long term (10 years plus) this of course is a great investment provided they give you title and early!

Adopt a 'wait and see' for the next 6 to 12 months...things are going to tank, the initial math that went into costing the project is going to change drastically

You are welcome, but with property in this here Kenya, don't wait too long as prices move fast, you might find in six months they are going for 4m and next year 5!

Ruiru is not that far off from civilization so I think it's well worth it. The only problem nowadays is finding controlled development areas. You don't want to build your dream home then end up surrounded by flats on all 4 sides.
If it is a controlled development area then yes yes yes I say you buy.
But be sure the sellers are fully legit and the land really belongs to them.
