Carrefour branches at the junction, TRM and sarit are a huge disappointment. Naivas, tuskys, quickmatt, maguna-andu much better.

Naivas is a class apart. Went into the Capital Centre branch and for a second I thought I was in Marseille

So my bro tells me Nakumatt opened at Kiambu mall and the Ridgeway one is still going strong, quite encouraging add to this the Mega, Ukay and Embakasi they might postpone the death, although the locations are not the high-end they were used to, is the parklands branch still open?

The branches Nakumatt have retained
Nakumatt embakasi
Mega
Lavington
Prestige
Kisumu city
Nakuru
Ukay

Embakasi is open?

Yes

Just passed through and it's crazy empty. Same with Mega..

Nakuru one is well stocked with good foot traffic. Maybe, just maybe they may pull this through

Kiambu Mall is Choppies

The way I see it, only the Prestige one makes business sense right now

Ridgeways branch closed ages ago.

Carrefour Junction a big mess. Better to shop at the local kiosk.

That's what happens when there is no viable competition/alternatives.

I really miss the good old organized Nakumatt

Their stores are very basic (except 2 rivers & Hub). No phombe, no vegetables, no meat etc etc. No variety. Huge disappointment and waste of space. Stores very stuffy one feels like suffocating. Should work on their ventilation esp at junction, sarit and TRM.
