Safaricom blue bells is next door almost similar but lacks green areas and is expensive at 6.2m yet rent is same with Olonyori at 4.5m. Greatwall is a concrete jungle not a single flower but the 3 bedrooms make it good for rental income. Sheshe gardens has the best finishing and build quality but the location is pathetic and the 2 bedroom is not master ensuite. The 3 bedroom at sheshe is pure luxury but at 8.5m from 6.5m just 2 years ago better go for massionnette. Your best options for hassle free rental remains bluebells and Olonyori. Premio you have left me discombobulated.Where are you now? Me too Lord, thank you!

This was sorted the tap leakage the taps were replaced with taps from tile and carpert centre after i demanded. The power was as a result of the transformer was single phrase a kplc issue. Overall the houses are every coin worth. That outoutburst was justified 4.25m had just left my account so lazima ingeuma Euge wrote:kysse wrote:#15 Posted : Thursday, January 09, 2014 10:40:16 PM premio wrote:If am not wrong Olonyori is 4.25m and the seller is selling block by block. in my own opinion Olonyori by far outshines all nearby development like everest valley and sunshine paradise( 10KM further down) in terms of top quality finishes. the green areas is almost 1/2 an acre. in 2years prices will be at 6.5m as soon as the mall is done dualling of nairobi machakos highway plus the nearby green terminal. You go and build or buy next to a factory that has been operating for decades then complain of pollution and now want the factory shut down? Who found the other one there? https://www.the-star.co....oxic-emissions_c1740915
Quote:Police yesterday fired into the air and lobbed teargas canisters to disperse protesters at the London Distillers Kenya Limited in Athi River, Machakos.
The protesters pelted workers with stones after they clashed at the entrance.
Anti-riot police were forced to fire to disperse the protesters as the demonstration degenerated into an ugly war.
The residents, who live in nearby Gate Wall, Green Gardens, Sunset Boulevard, Everest, Hill Crest and Lapset estates, accuse the brewer of polution.
More than 3,000 residents wanted to forcefully enter the company to deliver their grievances.
They were repulsed by workers, causing a confrontation at the gate.
The workers hurled stones at the charged residents prompting a fierce response from the protesters.
Great Wall Gardens Estate Association’s vice chairman Charles Wambugu said the company discharges toxic emissions.
He accused the company of impunity.
“It appears the directors have special forces that we do not understand. Nema has issued orders for the closure of the company yet it still operates," Wambugu said.

There should be zoning regulations. Planning authorities and NEMA shouldn't allow putting up of apartments next to existing industries. https://www.standardmedi...r-air-pollution-dispute

Quote:London Distillers now wants the residential estate to be demolished. The distillery has written to Nema, arguing that Great Wall Gardens sits on an industrial zone and should, therefore, be brought down. “We request Erdemann Property Ltd to demolish the said residential properties on the affected plots, failure to which we request the Director General Nema to issue demolition orders forthwith,” wrote Mohan Galot, the billionaire who owns the distillery, in the letter dated February 5, 2018 to Nema boss Geoffrey Wahungu.

Zoning regulations are more strictly enforced in Nairobi county. Mostly developers chose to develop outside boundaries of Nairobi to escape the zoning laws. This reminds of that smelly tannery at Zimmerman, was it ever closed?

Hehehehehehe Sunset Boulevard is many times better than Everest. Weren't those houses Everest blacklisted by the National Construction Authority a year ago over safety standards? The way I am
