Mmmh problem with a 100 % retention policy is that it gives managers time to slacken. James will re-invest the dividend at the market rate of 10% for 4 years. Then investors will meet in 2015 and clap for him for growing the balance sheet by half, which is just an ordinary achievement. The real test would be for the company to pay out 100% then go to the capital market, borrow and still grow the BS.

Last financial yr they outperformd tha market by more tham 50% . Which is good. I dnt think their wark dividend policy'll make them slaken. Coz wen they release their results they'll hav to show us where they investd and how much was the return. I believe the share price'll move once all the disgruntld dividend seekin shareholders hav sold and are out of the way. Remember it broke through its long term resistance of ksh 20.00 .just hold on for a little while

qw - the NASI has broken its 52-week high and currently stands at 93.18. What does that mean for technical analysts like yourself? Is the NSE set for a proper bull run?

@the deal i like @qw's freshness already. Such passion when the usual suspects of wazua have gone cold. Want to know his exit strategies when stocks are not up up up. @qw over to you...

Well... say what you want but with the Sunday blast at Uhuru Park... we have a problem...

Investors dont like violence... It may be OK to buy stuff when there is blood on the streets but dont expect much traction coz we have long-term violence every election or major political event...
