It seems the old party, KANU, tricks and operations are back, albeit in a different entity whose paramount leaders are students of the old party. Going back 20 years ago, the two boys (Uhuru and Ruto) were neutral, as they were still learning. I remember KANU A consisted of Kipkalya Kones (late), William Ole Ntimama (late), Simeon Nyachae and others and KANU B had Nicholus Biwott (late), Joseph Kamotho (late), George Saitoti (late). KANU B always carried the day because it consisted of very powerful individuals in Moi government. The political circus ended in Kasarani kichinjio when the cock swallowed the tractor...and kaboooom...KANU, KANU A KANU B were no more.
Fastforward, 20 years later, the remnants of KANU, aka Jubilee is now executing the same script that they did 20 years back. Jubilee now has two camps namely Jubilee Kieleweke (Uhuru allies) and Jubilee Tangatanga (Ruto allies). The Jubilee political jostling has yet again consctipted a third party through a handshake whose contents is largely unknown.
If history is anything to go by, then we are staring at the begining of the disintegration of jubilee. It is inevitable!
