Hi Folks,
Need help here.. I have duty free facility and plan to take my car back home. However just found on KRA web site that one condition is that You must have resided outside Kenya for at least two years during which period you should not have visited Kenya for an aggregate of more than 90 days. Herein lies my problem. I have exceeded the 90 day limit. Is there any way to go round this?

And if not wrong you must have had that car for more than 365 days while abroad
Life is an endless adventure

NO; there is no way around it...unless you stay outside another two years.

The duty might not be as high as you fear. Contact a clearing agent and they will give you the exact figure. Then decide whether to bring it in or to sell it.

It's really a simple choice - after all, a car is not an absolute necessity!
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
