Justice Mativo is already the patron saint of all downtrodden Kenyan men, after he rescued them from the slay queens (I mean FIDA) fifte/fifte post marriage plan. Someone should take the ERC to court on their illegal provisions that dictate that we should inquire a cost to buy a solar panel. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) said in a notice that it will begin enforcing the Energy (Solar Water Heating) Regulations 2012 on May 27 when the grace period it provided last year comes to a close.
“Beginning next month, ERC and police officers attached to the commission will start conducting surveillance to ascertain compliance,” Pavel Oimeke, the ERC’s acting director-general, said.
“Where we confirm non-compliance, the law requires that we issue the building owner with a six-month notice to instal the equipment failing which we shall charge them.”
This solar law covers residential premises (three-bedrooms and above), health institutions, restaurants and hotels, boarding schools and other similar commercial operations.
The ERC’s preliminary audits show that 150,000 of three million buildings (both new and old) have installed hot water systems – leaving thousands in the regulator’s crosshairs. Are they even allowed to go to private residence to inspect? What if I don't shower with hot water? Why don't they just revoke electricity water heating? This is an illegality and a way of aiding corruption.

Nakuru high court issued a conservative order sort by a property owner pending the hearing of the suit.
"pending the hearing and determination of the application herein and the petition, the honourable court thus grants conservatory orders staying the implementation of the regulation in pursuant to legal notice no 43/12," ruled Justice Antony Ndungu.
The court also ruled that the respondents be duly served with the petition before the hearing that was slated for June 7.
Nalinkumar Shah, a property owner within Nakuru town through his advocate Yoni Aim moved to court under a certificate of urgency urging the court to stop the ERC from cracking down landlords who have not installed solar heaters in their houses.
He sued the CS energy Charles Keter, Energy Regulation Commission, the Kenya power and the AG alleging that the regulations were formulated in bad faith and were not made in accordance with the provisions of the constitution.

I am loving Kenya's judiciary!! Pushing back when the executive crosses the line... many lines have been crossed by akina Mutua pia... they need to be reset... they are not the boss of us! All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
