Jayson Tatum is going to be a star someday but he will have to leave Boston for that to happen. He can't blossom into a perennial all star playing behind Kyrie and Gordon Hayward. He will have to follow James Garden's footsteps who thrived after he left the OKC where he was always the third wheel behind KD and Russ. Now he is the MVP. Tatum will have to leave the Celtics after another year or so to fully reach his potential. Right now he is the third best rookie after Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell so he still has some work to do to become the star people think he can be.
