Good stuff @Horton, yest the link is Centum Audited results for the year ended 31st March 2010

And even better performance from the company.
-surprised they don't want to give any dividend, just the 1:10 bonus
-profit after tax now grown to 889 million
-EPS now 1.62 growinng about 9 times

But this market these days, I have learnt that it is reckless to buy shares on the anticipation/announcement of results...

Muganda .....agreed....The best time to buy shares is when a target(bluechip) company announces a massive loss..especially if the future prospects are promising...and .when every one is selling ....And foreign/huge investors know this very well ....small time investors are easily set to trap by .....anticipation/announcement of results ....while big investors know when to hoard....when to buy and when to sell....

On centum the decision is all yours ....but a wait and see attitude is more preferable....Thats me

Couldn't pull out the thread. I suspect Wazua has frozen it.

Just what is the potential for upward movement.
I ask so because today the 10% rule was lifted, yet it only managed some 9% appreciation.
Has it already hit its apex.
Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

@ nandwa. Do u want to buy centium and enjoy the ride up. Or do u want to watch it go up from the sidelines. Let me tell you even tomorrow it'll move up. Even the day after tomorrow . As the momentum picks up. So i urge you buy some if u can. And today it movd up by a massive 12% .

I wouldn't be bothered too much about todays upward movement but at an NAV of 16.65 and with a lot of items in the deal pipeline, i believe this stock will be a star this year. Watch this space.
