KQ has lost 9.45% since results day(04-06-2010)...its PE now stands at 11.8...those relative strength indicator(RSI) now stand at below 30 meaning its oversold..

Thanx man. this kind of information lift me up.So i shdnt worry of it breakin the 50.00 resistance level. So let the rally begin. But RSI of 30 is pretty low.Rarely do stocks reach thirty. What your target price before it reached being overbought ????

my target was 66 bob...an RSI of 30 is a real oversold situation man...i think tomorrow or Thursday we will bounce back...

we have scratched the bottom supply has fallen from 275000 to 59000 today...at some point nobody will sell...50 is the support...56 the new resistance...an opportunity for people who dont feel like to exit in that range...

@the deal i told you KQ disappointed most analysts with those results and the hopeless dividend and hence you will not see any institutions/ foreigners touching the stock until it is below 50....

its already an hour into trade and only 800 shares traded clear sign of subdued interest...

one thing i want to caution technical analysts about is that technical analysis is very dependent on company information so dont imagine for a second that the technical information for KQ before the results is the same information you will find now...

Eg... anyone who still thinks 66bob is the benchmark resistance level after such results better be careful

Operating profit and turnover were both down. I'm not even going to get into the customer service ishoos (haven't got enuff time os space). Nuff said.

Surely you gotta price this in and look to enter at mid or lower 40s?

All that said and I agree with all of you, I think KQ is one of the best counters and with enormous potential. When I think of flying or when I'm about to fly somewhere for some reason I think of KQ first... then I start thinking of the negatives and take the other option.
Titus and his team now need to give us an all round realistic, ambitious and achievable short (immediate) and long term vision/goal and I can assure you this counter will never see sub 80/-.

Anyone doubt this?

The most important question an investor should ask himself is why he didnt buy when the share was at 20... now rushing to buy now when it has nearly tripled in valued'oh!

If u cant answer that question you shouldn't even be investing. The stock market will be a very costly affairSad
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

KQ once touched a high of 66 bob...anything was well position for KQ to lure somebody to buy @ 56 i mean those impressive 3rd to 4th quater passenger no's...the hedges going in their favour...the exchange rate...the risks then were kidogo compared to the rewards...so 56 bob looked cheap....

I don't think so. If you are the kind of investor who regrets missed opportunities then you are not an investor but a gambler. There are many reasons why people missed out, for me it's simply because I'd no cash to invest at that time and if I had I'd probably have bought KPLC, SCOM or Mumias for was it 3 bob?

I have been (almost) offline for 2 days. What have I missed?

Just saw KQ's price down to 51/-... crazy IMHO...

@thedeal - With our lousy airport, dont worry... no A380s landing in Nairobi (or most African countries) any time soon...

If an A380 were to land... it would probably sink into the one runway we have!

They build/extend the terminal buildings for A380s... I think only S.Africa in Africa has the capacity for A380s...
