where de a z a monopoly de z no development. Thy r relaxd coz we wil complain but we have no choice 2 back 2 em..... but we av options tht life z offern us though thy r high pricely but shuts down the problem once 4 eva. n tht d natural resources e.g solar, biogas n so on!

Kenya need electricity market where electricity trading is possible since there is no enough power for consumers, consumers should be allowed to sell their power if they do not need it, eg large office buildings with no overnight staff should be able to sell their power from say 8pm to 7 am, imagine if that was to be happen..... but either way, there need to be some smart people to do it......

It won't obviously solve the problem since the quantity is tha problem but it will enable those consumers with increasing marginal utility to access power and those with diminishing marginal utility to be forced to sell energy or pay more for additional marginal consumption.

Paid for power token for my rural folks this weekend and so did my other two siblings. Tokens are yet to be availed more than 24 hours later (Got a message from VENDIT that they were experiencing delays and that is all. Their customer care is rubbish). Question is, if the folks are disconnected, will they charge them for re-connection even though it's not their fault? KP is truly shit company .
