Out of interest,was this article published in the Nation,the more I re-read it the more it feels like the scare mails that made the rounds before last years PEV's
@Kamaa,I am not being naive,but I don't know if there are 1.5m Mungiki's and I don't know if they make Sh.500 per day,until this is confirmed with certainty I will ignore the rumour.
Now Mungiki is a threat to our countries security,but trying to suggest that they are capable of overthrowing the country's security apparatus without solid facts is naive.
And lets be honest here,TB is right to the extent that they are so far only operating in Central and parts of Nairobi and generally behaving like the sicilian mafia of yore that only targeted sicilians,even the mafia in the US only operated in areas with italian background and targeted the italians. Al Capone tried to take over Chicago and we all know what happened to him.
I am not going to talk down their threat or its ability to cause insecurity,can one of you in the know tell us how it should be tackled.
I guess if you can't win with facts,you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.
