I went to a Co-op Bank and withdrew cash (which I didn't mix with any other cash!). I went to deposit some of the money at Barclays bank and to my suprise one of the 1,000/= notes was found to be
fake!!! wtf! Should I be going through note by note checking if it is fake when I withdraw money from the bank? What if it is a substantial amount (over the counter)? And in the case of an ATM machine, even if you notice some notes are fake, then what? Bure kabisa!!!
And how does an ATM machine end up with fake money with all the resources the bank has to check on fake money? Way ward employees? Incompetence? Security companies tasked with the duty of loading the machines? Seriously!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
