Profit before tax at sh.7.71bn compared to 8.71bn in 2016
Profit after tax at ksh.5.3bn down from 6.1bn in 2016
Net interest income declined by 4% to sh.16.1bn
Customer loans grew by 5% to sh.167bn
Customer deposits grew by 11% to sh.200bn
Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation
Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

What is the inference here, considering all fundies are taking hits?
For investors as a whole, returns decrease as motion increases ~ WB

Barclays plc to complete its sell off and exit from Africa on December 5th.
It will sell a 7% stake and remain with 14.94% stake.
The name Barclays will continue to be used in Africa till mid 2020

BBK should be announcing theirs within the coming 10 days

Why 10 days? The audited results must be ready since these have to be sent "up the ladder" to be included in BB Plc's results.

Of course, KE banks can wait until 31st March is they so wished!

that means BBK will release theirs on monday or tuesday.

That's OK. My question is why does it take them more than 1 (business) day after PLC releases its results. Surely, it does not take that long to write a commentary. Or does CBK review the results before they are published locally?
