Good move. Just like the ongoing regulation, I believe its in everyone's best interest to tame the wild west that is Crypto. Lots of cowboys out there

Regulation is welcome,so is digital indetity. We can never go mainstream with this "anonymous" manenos.
Meanwhile for the crypto traders on twitter, you might want to give a follow to some ninja,@cryptochoe,lets just say his calls are right on the money.
Never lose your position in a bull market,BTFD.

Worries Grow That the Price of Bitcoin Is Being Propped Up

Quote:
.....Because of the credibility that comes with that tie to the dollar, Tether are often used to buy other virtual currencies like Bitcoin.

In recent months, however, many investors have been raising alarm bells about Tether. Hundreds of millions of dollars worth of new Tether were created; almost always when the prices of other virtual currencies were heading down. The Tether were used on the Bitfinex exchange to make big purchases of Bitcoin and other tokens, helping push their prices back up, according to multiple analyses of data from Bitfinex.

“This became more and more concerning, because every time the markets went down, you have seen the same thing happen,” said Joey Krug, the co-chief investment officer at Pantera Capital, which runs several virtual currency hedge funds. “It could mean that a lot of the rally over December and January might not have been real.”

Bitfinex had contracted with an American firm, Friedman, to audit its records and prove that its operation of Tether is above board. But last week, Bitfinex said it was cutting ties with Friedman, after waiting months for it to finish the audit. That news generated more suspicion.

“It’s a signal to the market of what those who have scrutinized the situation already believe: There is a problem here,” said Jill Carlson, a former trader at Goldman Sachs who now consults with a variety of virtual currency companies. “The dissolution of a relationship between an auditor and a company is very rarely a good sign that the company is behaving in accordance with market best practices.”

The above is one good reason you'd want some kind of govt regulation over your money. Its rough out there in the "wild wild west"

You're being shafted by KQ now you're unable to exit because of the abyss of stock consolidation. ...Ni kweli nyani haoni gubaye uliona la mwenziwe.

I don't require the funds I have invested in KQ.. Loose change! As most wazuans would know by now, my portfolio in stock is less than 10%.. Further every rational human would agree by witnessed volume that KQ is not a 'trading' share at the moment until the Open Offer circular is released to form equilibrium between the majority restructured stock and that held by minority.. Meanwhile I repeat, pole sana

Money market is in existence since time immemorial. Currency pairs USD/KES, GBP/CAD,EUR/AUS etc trade 24/7 ...The same concept is applied in digital currencies just like in traditional fiat money.

The technology behind bitcoin should have value but not the currency itself as legal tender. It's either a con game or the bubble of a lifetime, nothing else

I asked a few days ago and I'll ask again.

Kindly, describe for me how you convert cryptocurrency into KES, credited in your local(Kenyan) bank account?

Tafadhalini.

Thank you. My all time favorite is Revv Nissan on Facebook. He doesn't make calls often. He's currently shilling DBET, which I really don't believe in, because he's an adviser thus has a healthy stake, but ALL other calls are money makers

Tomorrow Bitcoin touches 8k mark.. 1 in 10 Bitcoin trades occur daily in India so today's move by the country is disturbing to the ponzi. At this point we stop and ask ourselves as wazua, what kind of investment is this that keeps dropping week after week, day after day
