Its a pity that KK does not have a consistent policy on releasing Quarterly results like Total... Anyway, we have to wait 2-4 months for the next set of results...

According to folks at the AGM... the management said 1Q was very good...

KK needs to sue the pants off all these fools including the Energy minister aka 'korrupt murungi' who illegally barred them from the OTS last week...

As for KPRL... knowing KK, who use top-notch lawyers... something tells me that they know the refining contract In & Out vs the idiots at KPRL...

I support 100% the cases KK has against the corrupt & inefficient nincompoops at KPRL, KPC & GoK...

http://www.nation.co.ke/...4/-/4nd00l/-/index.html

The wheels of justice in Kenya are SLOW but I have faith that KK will follow these cases to their logical conclusion... and win some chumz for its shareholders!

4bn against KPC & hopefully another 2-4bn against KPRL... muhahaha...

KK are smart folks! They launched a CP instead of borrowing from banks as interest rates drop!

I must say today kk made me laugh. I saw a guý litterally ön the verge of tears when he saw that kk had 'fallen' by 90% . LOL. As for vvs and tha band who tells u that mumias will hit 16.00 ??? Did u calculate the target price using 1st half results ??? Coz if u did like me u'll realise that mumias targets a price of 13.60 ( since 1st half results) and this equates to a p/e of 10. Which is quite reasonable. Those gettin in now to make a quick gain must b out of their minds.

What BULLSHIT... I challenge you to find me a post where I talk of Mumias hitting 16/-...

Dont act like Daily Nation business journalists who make up stories to sell papers!

What drivel from you. Wazuans know which stocks I follow & I put my expectations out there...

Boy... I am not sure what KK did to upset Nation lakini they are hitting KK with all they have...

BTW, KK has now sued KPRL for KShs 4.9bn (2x the earlier claim)... I hope KK wins coz I have KK shares but no KPRL shares!

dude dont put words in @vvs's mouth... i dont remember him targeting any price for mumias...
i gave a target of 16 and even more because my target PBT for the company is 3.2billion and at 16 this will give a P/E of 11 and the sector P/E is 13.16.. and i expect no less than 60 cents dividend which is about 4.8% yield if one buys at these levels

@qw25041985 do you still think this is a god exit level???

hehehe ati new boy making waves...@qw is a technical analyst..with technical analysis you buy shares any given day...it helps eliminate confusion when exiting a counter...well i think KK has a dark past and its just this past demons coming to haunt them...believe me @VVS KK will never win any of those cases...Moi is no more in power...he is a NO man...making him an enemy of the state...i think foreign buyers have realised KK's political links...thats why they have been dumping the stock

KK's has a dark past... lakini, the growth in profits has been strongest/best since 2002... these are the post-moi years...

Also KK started expanding regionally since 2002... thus the element of political 'help' has long gone...

I expect KK to gain some ground (even if they do not win) with the lawsuits...

Already KK has better relations with the new management of KPC after the old corrupt ones were chucked out!

@vvs, you missed the operative word 'low risk' claims. I can't see KK falling in this bracket.

@the deal - Totally... backfired on KK... LOL... I thot they would release 1Q results (like Total) and the optimism during the AGM leads me to believe the results are very good

BUT... KK will only release 1H results which means as far as 30 Sep... (3.5 months from now)

BTW, no way for 5/- coz the cases are NOT included in any of the results... KK has NOT included the arbitration award (coz under appeal) in their income but nice bonus if they win the appeal.

Also the only significant case against them is the KPRL amount (456mn) but KK has countersued for 10x as much! I think KK has good grounds to get the 456mn suit dismissed.
