Poor, Poor show, after all that cheering my voice is hoarse but thankyou for the consolation anyway..guess the YES WE CAN anthem spurred you to make the final try.

One DISadvantage of seeing the game live is that you can see the whole pitch. More often than not some one would break and the likes of Khayange and Asego were WALKING to the try line, hence no support, basic rugby dictates do not hit UNLESS there is support, ball retention is key for this game, see the way France were doing it..

Big up Mwanja..you did us proud.

Meanwhile last season Australia changed the whole team, came with young new guys from UNi.Guys were running circles round them like all good teams took there time, 1 year later!!!

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

Kenya are on a redemption mission ahead of the Edinburgh Sevens, the final round of the 2009/2010 IRB Sevens World Series. The home boys were unlucky last weekend at the Emirates London Sevens, just failing to make it to the main cup quarter finals when Gordon Tietjen's New Zealand scored a late try that saw their preliminary round match end 19-19,a result that saw Benjamin Ayimba's team finish third overall. Kenya would sum up their challenging tour of England with a 24-21 come from behind victory over France in the Shield final.

While they may have failed to register any points in London, slipping to eighth overall on the IRB Sevens World Series standings with 52 points, the feel good factor from the Shield victory should spur on the boys towards a better perfomance in Edinburgh, Scotland where they find themselves in a very competitive Pool A alongside overall series leaders Samoa, seventh placed Argentina who will incidentally be the star team at the Safaricom Sevens 2010 and France.

Kenya have a good chance to qualify for quarters main cup thus put in them for contention and also earn points to improve their IRB ranking, currently a pathetic 3rd from bottom with 52 points compared to Samoa leading with 150.

Even if they lose to Samoa in the first game, so long as they win against Argentina and France in the qualifiers, and perform well in the semis, they can leap frog South Africa and England to be fifth behind Fiji at 4th.

That can be the only gift the team can give to Kenyans in the light of the political atmosphere.

This was expected. We knew there was no way Kenya was going to beat Samoa.

For Kenya to go far, they need to beat both France and Argentina, and they need to do it emphatically by landing cricket scores, just in case there is an unlikely upset when either of these teams face Samoa. But with sevens, it is not easy to predict.

people...I have always told you to quit when you are winning...Benjamin Ayimbva has done such good work to elevate the team to the level it is now. It is time for major changes...

I'm no rugby follower, but maybe a revamp is needed. I don't think major changes, just a large pool of brains and players.

I'm sure by now all the IRB 7s circuit teams know that Injera must be stopped at all costs, so maybe now bring in some raw talent and see what happens. He's still young though.

Looking at a team like Samoa, wah!
