But phones like Xiaomi's are quite tricky when it comes to the network bands a unit has...
There are units categorized as global versions which have a wide array of network bands they support and others are regionalised when it comes to the network bands they'll support...
At times you may find that your unit was allowed into the country since at the time of shipping no embargoes could be effected - since 700Mhz hadn't been launched yet...
