I gat a friend doing this tomato greenhouse in Mangu area,we have some good climate here and doing it jointly with Amiran.
I saw another tomato project along Garissa road,past Landless area,just on the road.
I understand they guy had a good tomato harvest.
The tomatoes are large in size increasing tha weight hence fetching more.
Go go on with what you doing.

@Tebes
As promised last year - a brief report.
- Harvest was good Dec to March. Has declined since due to poor husbandry but unit prices are good.
- Train a good worker and keep them. Poor watering, fertilizing and pruning can cost you lots of cash.
- Anna F1 has done well. Will never touch Nemoneta again (big fruit with thin skin and brief shelf life).
- RETURNS:- For an investment of 250K, projected returns of 150K over 10 months. Break even in the second year since additional investment required will be 25K max.
- *It is possible to break even in the first year if you know everything you need to know, poach a good worker from somewhere and the crazy price peak turns into a plateau! I wish ....
Good investing.
