Rank: Elder Joined: 2/7/2007 Posts: 11,935 Location: Nairobi		Chile is the latest to be hit a few hours back but on a lower scale. Now, Chile has had 43 earthquakes in the last 30 days. Are we being prepared for the BIG ONE? Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Yet the aftershocks have not yet hit Mexico City was built on a lake/swamp which is on a fault line! but it's not just there. the whole western coast of the American plates is on the edge of tectonic plates. it does a loop around over Japan, the phillipines, indonesia, even PNG and New Zealand! very active tectonic areas of the world. the big one for California ndio inagojewa.... All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

So are storms such as Hurricanes, Cyclones and Typhoons! Heavy snow would also kill us all! All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

This has been the deadliest quake in the world this year. .... The majority of victims were Iranian. IRNA, the country's state news service, said on Tuesday that at least 530 people were killed and 7,817 were injured. Officials in Kermanshah said most of the Iranian deaths were in the town of Sarpol-e Zahab where 236 people died. At least 10 people killed in Iraq. The Iraqi Red Crescent said that 10 people were killed in Iraq's northern province of Sulaimaniyah, and 430 people were injured there. No injuries in neighbouring countries. Although tremors were felt beyond Iraq and Iran, no injuries have been reported in the neighbouring countries .... Being situated near a fault line, earthquakes are frequent in the region.
