It depends on why you are broke.Is it after buying highly priced electrönics for your home or after some viable investment.I have realised that most people who complain about being broke actually have so many investments.So do away with the money u don't need urgently,save n invest.Then join the 'I am broke' party

live as though u earning half of what u earn then invest the rest.........ever heard of this...AT THE END OF THE MONTH....THE POOR BUY WHAT THEY DONT NEED,THE MIDDLE CLASS BUY LIABILITIES THINKING THEY ARE BUYING ASSETS AND THE WEALTHY BUY BUSINESSES AND INVESTMENTS.........

Join a sacco. I started contributing 1500 in 2007 and am now up to 20K monthly.

Dividends are quite good and boost when you least expect.

Also don't go for drinks on weekdays.
