Land prices in Oletepes and its relative proximity to Nairobi are appealing. But I am wondering if I am daydreaming thinking I can succesfully farm the said products in an arid area. Please advice, laugh at me, criticise, seek clarification, correct or just give information that you think can be useful.
You can do farming anywhere if you are a billionaire.
For Tinga, its a no go zone if you want to start small due to the factors enumerated by others above. Water is a problem, the distance to the market a challenge esp for perishables( Vegs, Milk etc)
However, if you want to do ostrich Farming, Camel rearing etc, the please is ideal.
