Got a link for the contraceptive use claim? Not really, the link is in the access to the contraceptives in the rich states vs the poorer ones, am not saying i have "scientific proof" but i know, and there was a doctor mzee (gynecologist) on citizen t.v speaking very earnestly about the mess this contraceptives are, he was speaking from a long history as a gynecologist seeing the problems they have made, he was advising "traditional methods". What were the traditional methods? In our culture Kuchill tu! But these was among the more advanced societies, there are some that even included masturbation, and mutual masturbation in Uganda na labda western e.t.c, the Kikuyus are reported to use a system called "ngwiko" where a young man would be tied to a msupaa(of a slighter higher age group) naked except for a small strip over her airport and they would be chaperoned by a lady to make sure NOTHING HAPPENS, the young man would learn to "kaza" himself, ie SELF CONTROL, and not subjected to "useless nyeges" in life, is training for temperament and self control. However a mzungu Professor from USA called Fadiman who researched on Mt. Kenya culture early last century confirmed the Ameru did not use "ngwiko" for self control, but spiritual training and meditation for self control, of course there were still some warogis and other useless sexually charged morons! Those of you who are educated in matters management and social theory know about the big problems we face with SELF CONTROL, i.e Prof Peter Druckers seminal work is simply titled Management by Objectives and Self Control. In our culture, by the time a warrior band -Muthaka/Abtakka (age 15-30) was entering marriage age Muruau-Aruau (from age 30-40 +), they would go through thorough theology and spiritual training in self-control. Nowadays 24 year old boys e.t.c are getting "married" because they cant control themselves, they is no training, when they get circumcised, they criss cross the kitchen all the time with a shuka mpaka wapone, that's all, what do you expect but diesel and vaseline and young single mothers, violence, strife ukabila e.t.c.
