This is very funny. Similar to that is the habit of people saying, Ukikutana na Peter, mwambie bado nategea afanye hivyo. When you ask Afanye nini, they tell you, Atajua, thus making it sound so sophisticated and confidential when it is probably nothing much.

I have heard that during the 1998 bombing of the American Embassy, the then American ambassador to Kenya Ms. Bushnell was in a meeting with then Minister JJ Kamotho in the Cooperative Bank Building. When they heard the explosion Bushnell immediately went down on the floor while the Minister moved towards the window looking out to "investigate what was happening."
