Have just gone through the Annual Report for 2016, and interesting the Chairman of this company, Ngugi Kiuna has increased his stake from 1.37% to 5.1% in the last 12 months.

Can anyone help on what's going on here?

Yes. The chairman wanted more shares.......so he bought more shares.
