Can someone pay in a lump sum for one year? The contribution being 500 per month for 12 months coming to 6,000. Would their system treat it as a month contribution or spread over 12 months?

Yap, it does that.Then you check the payment and it will show you that you have paid upto whatever month 07-2018 basically July 2018.

This is what i do with one of my sisters who is not well off...... Covers her and her family. No pressure when now they need medication / Hospitalization.
