@ Obiero, hope you have gone through the nitty gritty and will give us a rejoinder.

Forget about dominant players this will create behemoths.

I disagree with those saying other banks have a similar product as this is not a VALUE ADDED service to your account but an actual account with interest to boot. Stand to be coLLected.

Once again EB and Safcom, lead the way in provision of banking services particularly to the unbanked. I wish other banks were this innovative.

Product charges 30/= for withdrawals, minimum balance Kshs 100, with micro insurance and micro lending components. Interest on balances is nothing to talk about, but no bank pays much in interest on deposits.

Great product I would say.

Again like I said before, KCB have had a similar product for a while, which I use. who will remember that KCB were the pioneers?

@GG. What account is this? I called KCB Call Center and a guy called Christian told me that they do not have an account that takes cash DEPOSITS through Mpesa. With Mkesho, I may have the product that I have been looking for.

Thanks to the Innovators!!!

Pole sana KCB. Came up with great innovation then did not give it enough PR. The product will forever be linked with EB.

I think this m-kesho is revolutionary.

But some questions: what are the costs of transacting? eg if i want to deposit or transfer KES 100.00?

Secondly, those with other equity accounts, do they have to migrate to enjoy the benefits??

Per transaction, what goes to equity and safcom?
