Its good for the game. It promotes peace. If it continues I am fairly certain that the days of running battles will soon be over. If peace reigns then football will benefit because more fans will visit the stadia.

Part of the reason Yanga and Simba games are so well attended is because peace reigns.

It was actually cool to see the two sets of fans singing and dancing together in the stadium.

But I don’t think the rivalry will diminish if the two sets of fans are friends. Your rival doesn't have to be your mortal enemy. Each set of fans still wants to win the league and beat their rival.
