What could be the meaning of that statement?..does it mean the tax rate is going up, or is it that the tax bands will be expanded.Because one is good while the other is bad.So which is which?

Kenya borrowed $1 billion via a syndicated loan from commercial banks, $200 million more than anticipated, Thomson Reuters publication IFR reported on Friday. The East African nation said in March it was raising a total of $1.55 billion in syndicated loans, with $800 million coming from commercial banks and the rest from development finance banks. The $1 billion loan was split into a two-year tranche and a three-year tranche, IFR cited bankers as saying. The loan was arranged by Citigroup, Rand Merchant Bank, Standard Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. http://af.reuters.com/ar...&utm_campaign=bufferWealth is built through a relatively simple equation Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

Sitting & mileage allowance abolished. MPs- 621K Senators-621k Women Reps-621k MCAs-144K No sitting and mileage allowances That Commission had better receive its working budget fire-walled by the Constitution. Otherwise, the second agenda, after appointment of the Respective Speakers, will be its disbanding and or damaging budget fund cuts. The final take home figure for each of those cadres shall be no less than 25% higher by the time the new team is done with the Commission. I hope I am wrong, but then this is Kenia.

SRC...good move. But as usual Mpigs first agenda of the next parliament will be to deal with SRC.
The law of 'no sitting and mileage allowances' together with caps on 'Daily Subsistence Allowances and out of town/country trips' should be extended through out government. Then we can see the real effect.
