Don't ask for details Yaani just a gift has given birth to a president?  It's not the gift but the message it contains/conveys. Gifts mean a lot in power relations. Ever wondered why visiting head of state give each other gifts. European uthamakis used to do this kind of thing marry off a girl to sustain influence. Jomo must have learned this during his stay in the UK where he was sent by the peasants to go and see the queen and present their land grievances.
