Enyeewe 001 na Masomo ni kama maji na mafuta. His primary school certificate should be checked, he may not have "graduated" either. Yet he went all the way to register at THE. "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

When Joho speaks he doesnt come off as an illiterate guy. For me sniffing his academic papers all over the place is unnecessary, and if that was used to deny him clearance to run, then it one would be tempted to see it as a culmination of political witch-hunt and persecution. This is not to say Joho is necessarily clean on other fronts. Isuni yilu yi maa me muyo - ni Mbisuu

@ngalaka, This is the "sniffing" season. Remember the Kajiado TNA Governor candidate who was sniffed last minute, Kabogo Vs Waititu etc. Now that our politics is not based on morals, the easiest to sniff are academics. Not sure who will sniff for CIC, i hear they may be Waiganjo too "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

KNEC has written another letter claiming the previous one had been erroneously written.
They've confirmed Joho sat for kcse in 1993 and got a D.
This witch-hunt is getting amateurish and desperate every day. And all this for a guy who could have been beaten by Hassan Omar easily.
Joho has done zilch for Mombasa people.

On a general note, it sure does look: C/D grade great for politics B grade great for management A grade for teaching? writing?

May be with local universities, but still the court battles would be fierce. I gather that Obama Senior didnt sit his O nor A level exams but went ahead to get a degree in University of Hawaii, then proceeded to Harvard for PhD Isuni yilu yi maa me muyo - ni Mbisuu

Especially Universities are granted charters that make them independent to read and write as they wish. Very debatable and would be certainly challenged. Note to students who want to be politicians in future: Take a lot of pictures while in school and make many friends who will remember you when someone doubts your qualifications.
