The KCAA DG said in may there still won't be direct flights.
Earliest KQ can start direct flights is from next year

All signed.. Only thing pending is technical review of the specific craft that that will ply the route. Plus background checks on the crew for obvious reasons.
KQ share shall be the highest performer at the NSE before elections
