That video is very disturbing but it's a perfect reflection of how evil religion is. Those people are shouting Allah Akbar, just how callous and cruel is that? They actually think that it's justified and that their god approves? Wow just wow.
Religion had nothing to do with this and you know it. This is a demonstration of power and not religious prowess. But that said, I cannot stop you from interpreting this the way it suits you best.
What does Allah Akbar mean to you? These are Muslim fundamentalists and they are doing it in the name of Allah. How is that not related to religion?
If they were yelling "Giniwesekao" then we would say they are Gor Mahia fans but these are clearly Muslims following their religious teachings of beheading.
Quran 8:12 says, “When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.”
The Quran expects unbelievers and those who violate Islamic laws to be beheaded and this act of violence is a divine command from Allah. So yes, this is absolutely about religion and Islamic teachings.
