RIP Joost, one of my favorite scrumhalfs. Was a force to be reckoned with for the boks. Was easily able to slot in as a flanker. "The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline." James Collins

Now if you got like 4 or 5 sumo wrestlers kind of guys, one holds the ball, the others protect him and they start walking towards the other end to score a try, I am sure tackling them would be next to impossible - would that like work. Funny post Such a team can get slaughtered even by Kenya. Rugby is not about brute strength, but a combination of many attributes including strength, speed, agility, endurance, technique and brains. It's all well and good to love your country but the standard of the Kenyan game is not even close to that level.

Kenya is "above average" and this is usually a puzzle... most countries at our economic state - don't punch this hard on anything Sheer GDP - these are our peers GDP per capita - these are our peers our rugby peers All Mushrooms are edible! The gulf in quality between Kenya and "our peers" Namibia or Uruguay is huge. There is a long way to go for Kenya and we need our guys playing professional rugby if we are to step up a level in the rugby world.

The rankings on their own don't fully represent the differences in team strength. Last time we played 20th placed Namibia, they spanked us 56-21 and dominated every set play. That's simply reality.

we have beaten Spain and Namibia, teams ranked right above us, we have never played Uruguay but I am sure we can take them on. Afew more developments and competitive matches and we should very easily move into the top 20. Infact I think we will make the 2020 Japan world cup My point stands, take away any 5 all blacks and replace them with those fat sumo wrestlers and yeah game on, we can beat them "The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline." I agree with most of what you say. However professionalism will not resolve Kenya's problems. Poor quality players are the problem. What Kenya needs is proper youth development. http://kenyapage.net/com...ground-up-not-top-down/\

Ideally the money that comes with professionalism should be invested into infrastructure and youth development.
