THIITIMA
This word is todate missused to mean different from the original version.
The word Thiitima initial intention was a call to bad power fluctuations coined by both Sport channels and Kameme FM during its hay days.
If power shutdown was done during a football match being used on TV everybody would shout "Thiitima" as a frustration and if you could not listen to Kameme FM as your Radio used electric power, people would call the station for help to restore the Thiitima thing. The Kameme would then call the power station to inform areas with no power(Blackout)
Today its being used to show abundant of something like good music that overwhelms, or something else good or bad as far it overwhelms one.
Now Thiitima in the Voter registration as a warning of shock to face one if you do not vote during GE August 2017. The shock would leave you worried why you ended up having wrong Leaders.
As in Francis Imbuga book 'Betrayal in the city" majority of Kenyans are represented by Mulili!!! They can turn anything from what it was to a different thing!!!
