EABL
East African Breweries Ltd Ord 2.00 broke below the downside support level of 263.50, 8 day ago. This is a bearish sign. This previous support level of 263.50 may now provide upside resistance. Volume on the day of the breakout was neither extremely heavy nor extremely light--providing no convincing evidence either way as to the validity of the breakout.

in terms of structural analysis, EABL achieved a HL @ C and so the overall expectation is a NSL.

Trading at a four year low.. Hii itamaliza watu. Only trade if you know what you are doing. Their financial position is grim. And in a dying economy who will drink the Ruaraka waters. The two men have sold us short

Hi Obiero. Thank you for sharing your idea on EABL. If I could comment please...
Nice to see beauty of trading. We look at the same chart and see different things. Gotta love it.
If you are looking for long term trades, wait for a confirmation but for short term traders, "scalping"..... Again market might be about to reverse. "Low" means opportunities. This could be one of them. Just my assessment.

NSE has taken a long time to introduce the indices ETFs. If they had launched the derivatives the losses from the brutal bear would have been minimized via hedging for those that like to buy and hold like fund managers.

@metasploit and myself have noted the RSI divergence as NSE20 continues to post lower lows. The same also noted across the NASI and the FTSE NSE KE indices. A bounce is definitely coming.

okay...... looks like this might be a good year

GFC lows here we are... smile

Is there such a term like oversold on oversold Think

he he hee. could be extremely oversold. feel like mortgaging the house or sell the farm smile . do your due diligence.

After testing the low at 72 last week with a VWAP of 79.50 the price has reacted. If VWAP closes at the current price of 82 this will be the second positive reaction in the 14 week interval of losses!!! Excessively oversold. This has to reset.

And to add NSE should start allowing short like other stock markets in the world. I am longing for that time to come. I thought 2017 was the year...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
You've got to know when to hold'em,
Know when to close'em,
Know when to walk away
And know when to run
You never count your money when
your sitting at the platform
There'll be time enough for counting
when the trading's done!!

Best wishes

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
"Learning how to identify an opportunity to buy or sell does not mean that you have learned to think like a trader . The defining characteristic that separates the consistent winners from everyone else is this: The winners have attained a mind-set—aunique set of attitudes—that allows them to remain disciplined, focused, and, above all, confident in spite of the adverse conditions." Sounds almost like a Warren Buffett quote. Buy low, sell high. Buy at a discount when the rest are selling without good reason i.e. without a negative change in circumstances/fundamentals.

hello muandiwambeu. thanks for your opinion. I understand your legitimate concern as we need to do our due diligence and avoid crowd euphoria at all cost. That being said, allow me to define what an edge is: An edge is nothing more than an indication of a higher probability of one thing happening over another both back-tested and forward tested by the trader. ie. edge is simply an indication that there is a higher probability that the market will move in one direction over the other. It need to be your edge not what everyone says. PRICE ACTION IS THE KING
