Comparative figures to justify the label would have been appropriate!!!!!

Will be interesting to see the inflation numbers for the month. Closely watching the MPC meeting at the end of the month and the decisions made...

Quote:
Kenya’s government (has) mandated four international banks to raise $800 million in syndicated loans that authorities need to boost foreign-currency reserves and plug a widening budget deficit.

The East African nation’s Treasury informed the Nairobi-based units of Citigroup Inc., Standard Bank Group Ltd., Standard Chartered Plc and Rand Merchant Bank on Tuesday that they were appointed to arrange the financing.

The funds are expected to be made available to the Kenyan government by February.

Safaricom highly dominant. The former communication director at the firm made a plea to CAK to water down the anti competitive report, which will now be released at the pleasure of government since Airtel is already dying and Orange had falsified data

Could you kindly explain to me, a lay man in finance, what being declared a dominant player means and how it affects share price.

In a functional economy, it would imply drastic measures such as sharing of infrastructure, freeze on ads pend, regulation on growth in consumer base and even possible breakup of units to have the telco and it's finserve mpesa separated
