Nairobi Water Company

This company needs to be investigated. The residents of my area have all signed a petition to be handed over to our MP, useless governor and MCA to compel the company to start supplying water on the allocated day with full pressure or we throw them out. We're also sending a petition to the anti-corruption to establish how many of their employees are running this cartel and have links to/or own 'clean water' trucks. See, what they do is target areas that can afford truck water, 'nyonga' the pressure of the water on their allocated day so you only get a few drops and order from the vendors who eventually sort them... It's time Kenyans stop being so passive about service delivery. BBI will solve it :)

I thought connecting the pump directly to the pipe will mess the supply to the other guys after you, but true, with nairobi water one needs as big a water tank possible.

Like Jonah in the Bible, I realised over time that it is easier & better to fix the problems you have because you'll find greater ones where you run away to. BBI will solve it :)

Weka underground tank. Maji yakija, unapata wa kwanza kwa sababu tank inahitaji pressure kidogo. You can pump from there without messing your neighbours. Anyway, kwa nini watu wanastruggle kuishi Nairobi na it environs na hizo shida zote?

My family decided that every service provided by the government will not be got from private enterprises. Be it education or medical or any other. We simply demand the best from the government agents since they are the same ones that move to private entities. There is this one time that a 'doctor' insisted that he was done for the day. The guy came in around 9:30am and wanted to leave before 1pm. Nilimpa msomo. Many people came in before 7am to get medical attention yet he serves a handful and says we wait for the next medic. He served us till the next guy showed up. He did a superb job and we became friends thereafter.

The company has been sending me water bills (via text msg) for the past 3 months with same meter reading and indicating that i have consumed zero units. Thus I have been paying only the standing charge each month. Recently I found this odd and so I decided to check the meter and it seems the meter stopped working and thus the constant digits/reading. What should I do? Should I report the matter to the company or should I continue enjoying the "free water"? Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Report the matter ASAP to the relevant authorities indicating when you started paying low water charges so they can backdate. Morals ,morals ... work to prosper

Better report quickly before they charge you with tampering with the meter and hitting you with an estimated bill plus fine if not charging you in court. BBI will solve it :)
